The College of Engineering Student Body Organization (COESBO) of Isabela State University–Cabagan placed second in the YRPP 2026 Project Pitch Competition held on August 12 at SM City Cauayan, Isabela, as part of Buwan ng Kabataan and International Youth Day 2026.

Represented by Gianne Chloe A. Quijano and Joash B. Fabie, with Dr. Jolan B. Sy as adviser, COESBO presented “Husk Wise,” a project focused on developing durable bioplastic from agricultural waste.

Out of 30 participants, 28 advanced to the pitch presentation.

COESBO also received its Certificate of Accreditation from the Provincial Youth Development Office (PYDO), confirming compliance with the Youth Organization Registration Program. The accreditation, issued on April 8, 2025, is valid for three years under Registration No. YO-10835-040825.
