
The project is focused on livelihood enterprise development harnessing indigenously available fruits in Isabela. Fruit Wine processing using local fruits such Guyabano, Bignay and Mango is an emerging viable enterprise with known captured market within and also outside the local market. The therapeutic and nutritional value of these endemic fruits make it popular and attractive among consumers considering their health benefits. As a livelihood enterprise the technology on fruit wine processing generated by ISUC-DETS office as one identified OCOP project has been established as a matured Technology adopted by the LGU-Tumauini through women organization – “VULAUAN TA BARANGAY” (VTB) at present the VTB is known for its well-established Bignay Wine Processing as Livelihood enterprise.
