CFEM hails 28 newly Licensed Foresters; ISU passed national passing rate

 


The College of Forestry and Environmental Management (CFEM) at Isabela State University (ISU) Cabagan campus got 66% over-all rating surpassing the national rating of 59.01% during the recently concluded Foresters Licensure Examination last September 11-12, 2018 held in various designated regional exam centers around the country. CFEM marked 87% rate from 17 passers out of 21 first takers. The result was released five days after the last day of examination. The examination comprised four (4) areas namely Forest Ecosystem (20%), Social Forestry and Governance (25%), Forest Utilization and Engineering (20%) and Forest Production and Management (35%). The record-breaking passing rate of the college was due to the collaborative effort of the takers and with the guidance of the CFEM faculty and staff spearheaded by Dr. Emerson V. Barcellano, College Dean and Professor Hannie T. Martin, Foresters Licensure Examination Coordinator.
