ISUC CCJE stages โConcert for a Causeโ for anti-illegal drugs, terrorism campaign
The College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE) of Isabela State University Cabagan (ISUC) hosted a โConcert for a Causeโ with the purpose of raising funds for outreach programs aimed at intensifying the organizationโs anti-illegal drugs and terrorism campaign.
The project, titled โ4K Project 2.0: Katahimikan, Kaayusan at Kaligtasan tungo sa Kaunlaran,โ held at the Andaya Multipurpose Gymnasium on February 29, was attended by students from various colleges of ISUC and 4th-year criminology students of Saint Ferdinand College, Cabagan.
In collaboration with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) of Region 2, Mr. Romarico P. Pagulayan, PDEA Isabela Provincial Officer, delivered his message and emphasized the importance of the undertaking. He also congratulated the municipality of Cabagan for being one of the drug-cleared municipalities in the province of Isabela.
The project was organized by the Criminal Justice Student Body Organization, in collaboration with the Supreme Student Council (SSC) Cabagan, Society of Junior Law Enforcers (SJLE), Prime Mover Society (PMS), and Stalwart Alliance of Future Enforcers of Security (SAFES).
The organization invited the Police Regional Office 2 (PRO2) Valley Cops Band as the guest performers for the event and also showcased the talents of ISUC students through the CCJE Band.
The event was made possible with the guidance and administration of Dr. Rodel Asuncion, CCJE Dean, Asst. Prof. Sanyboy M. Beltran, OSAS Director, and the faculty members of CCJE.
The event also aims to encourage more youth leaders to join the Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo (KKDAT) Chapter of Cabagan and mobilize the youth sector into a potent force organization and proactive partner of the Philippine National Police (PNP).
